Role Summary
We are hiring a driven Regional Sales Manager to lead business growth across a large eastern and central India territory. This role focuses on selling advanced medical equipment, strengthening relationships with healthcare customers, and delivering revenue growth in a high-potential market.
Territory Coverage
The role is responsible for sales coverage across West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh, with a focus on expanding the business in these regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of sales activity across the assigned region and ensure steady business expansion.
- Lead the sale of high-value capital equipment such as CT, MRI, and Cathlab systems.
- Develop new business opportunities with private hospitals, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare organizations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with hospital decision-makers, biomedical leaders, and procurement teams.
- Manage AMC and CMC agreements, including renewals, pricing discussions, and service upselling.
- Guide, coach, and support Area Sales Managers to help the team meet and exceed targets.
- Set clear sales plans and work consistently toward achieving revenue goals.
- Prepare territory plans, sales forecasts, and monthly business reports.
- Coordinate closely with service and application teams to support installations and deliver a strong customer experience.
- Monitor competitor activity and market movements to identify opportunities and stay ahead of trends.
- Oversee collections and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Experience & Skills
The ideal candidate should bring at least 10 years of experience in healthcare or medical equipment sales, with strong exposure to capital equipment such as CT, MRI, Cathlab, or similar products. Prior success in managing large territories and handling AMC/CMC portfolios is essential.
Qualifications & Other Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, with MBA qualification considered an advantage. The role requires excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, along with a strategic, goal-oriented approach. Fluency in English is mandatory, and Hindi knowledge will be beneficial. The candidate should also be ready for extensive travel within the assigned territory.
