Role overview
This position calls for a motivated, relationship-oriented Regional Sales Manager to guide and expand the South East sales organization. The role is designed for someone who enjoys field engagement, team development, and translating market potential into strong business outcomes.
Techo-Bloc is also launching a new manufacturing facility in South Carolina, creating local production capacity for the South East for the first time. That expansion is expected to improve delivery speed, service levels, and market momentum, giving the selected leader an opportunity to help build the brand in a rapidly expanding region.
Key responsibilities
- Own and improve sales performance across the assigned region.
- Support the rollout of the new South Carolina plant and use local supply advantages to increase volume, deepen dealer partnerships, and build brand visibility across the South East.
- Create and implement plans to engage distributors, contractors, landscapers, and end buyers.
- Establish yearly sales targets and territory objectives for each team member.
- Recruit, train, guide, and evaluate a high-performing field sales team.
- Build durable customer relationships that extend beyond individual transactions.
- Recommend and refine sales policies that align with company expectations and a customer-first approach.
- Lead promotions and field initiatives that strengthen loyalty and market presence.
- Organize and conduct training for dealers, architects, and contractors, including masonry certification programs.
- Develop professional relationships that help identify qualified training instructors.
- Collect, assess, and share competitive intelligence across business units.
- Travel regularly to assist representatives, attend industry functions, and reinforce partner relationships.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or sales management position.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and surpassing regional revenue goals.
- Experience in building materials, hardscape, landscaping, construction, or a similar field is strongly preferred.
- Strong coaching ability and a track record of elevating team performance.
- Strategic thinking combined with a practical, hands-on work style.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across levels.
- Comfort with frequent regional travel and field-based work.
