Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Labourer to join our production team. This role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of quality and supporting the overall production process. You will be responsible for inspecting finished products, ensuring they meet strict quality control measures, and performing various manual tasks to support operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail, physical stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of finished paving stones and retaining walls to verify dimensions, color consistency, and overall quality against established standards.
• Perform quality control checks on the production line, identifying and removing defective items from pallets or boards, replacing them with acceptable pieces as needed.
• Efficiently sort, pack, crate, and package materials and finished products according to production line requirements and company procedures.
• Regularly lift, move, and handle heavy materials and products as dictated by the production workflow.
• Undertake various elemental tasks and other labour-intensive activities to ensure smooth production and operational continuity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment by cleaning machinery and immediate work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• No prior experience is required; we are eager to train motivated individuals.
• Must possess the physical capacity to frequently lift and maneuver items weighing up to 75 pounds and be comfortable with a role involving sitting, standing, walking, and physically demanding tasks.
• Requires strong manual dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination for precise task execution.
• Must demonstrate a high level of concentration and attention to detail to ensure consistent quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced setting.
• Punctuality and consistent daily attendance are essential for maintaining production schedules and team performance.
