About Team Global Express NZ

Team Global Express NZ provides freight forwarding, comprehensive logistics, and end-to-end transportation services across New Zealand, connecting regions from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Role Overview

Due to growing business demands, we are seeking a Regional Pallet Coordinator to join our Otahuhu Auckland team. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Core Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all pallet-related activities, ensuring complete and accurate records of pallet movements across branches.
  • Work proactively to minimize rental expenses associated with pallets.
  • Adhere to and promote health and safety policies within daily operations.
  • Manage pallet accounts effectively.
  • Provide training and ensure compliance regarding pallet handling processes.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Identify opportunities to monitor and enhance equipment movement efficiency.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • A minimum of five years in the Transport or Logistics sector.
  • Tertiary education in Transport or Logistics is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Experience in pallet tracking systems is preferred.
  • Proficient with computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with 2IC pallet software is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret logistical information effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Positive and resilient attitude with adaptability to changing conditions.
  • Excellent time management capabilities.

Additional Information

This role is based onsite in Auckland at Otahuhu. Team Global Express operates as an Alcohol and Drug-Free workplace. Pre-employment screening includes Ministry of Justice checks, Drug and Alcohol testing, medical assessments, and reference verification. Applicants must be immediately eligible to work in New Zealand.
