Job description
About the Role
This role is focused on expanding business with large corporate clients across the West region, with the objective of increasing revenue contribution and strengthening adoption of CRISIL Intelligence products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own key strategic accounts and steer growth initiatives that improve revenue share and widen market reach for the product portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong client partnerships, manage ongoing accounts, and negotiate commercial terms that support profitability.
- Engage senior decision-makers at customer organizations, earn their confidence, and develop durable relationships with key stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Lead sophisticated commercial discussions with CXO-level leaders to close contractual and business agreements.
- Set sales targets, identify opportunity areas with important stakeholders, and help launch new solutions and offerings into the market.
- Monitor pipeline health and performance, ensure monthly budget goals are achieved, and respond to market and client requirements with relevant offerings that drive revenue growth.
- Keep the sales team updated on market developments and support them in addressing customer needs with innovative solutions.
- Design and implement tactical sales plans to meet and outperform revenue objectives.
- Promote the organization’s thought leadership and use high-level strategic relationships to strengthen client engagement.
- Collaborate across internal teams to ensure client requirements are addressed effectively.
Requirements
- Strong background in strategic account management, business development, and enterprise sales.
- Experience handling senior stakeholders and conducting complex commercial negotiations.
- Ability to build and grow relationships with large corporate clients.
- Comfort with sales planning, target setting, and pipeline performance tracking.
- Capability to work with cross-functional teams and support customer-focused solutions.
- Leadership skills to guide sales execution and keep the team aligned with market needs.
