Role overview
This position is for an HR leader supporting sales operations in Delhi. The role is centered on partnering with business leaders, shaping people strategy, improving workforce stability, strengthening performance management, and enabling better hiring, capability building, employee relations, and HR operations.
Business partnership and strategic HR
- Work closely with sales leadership to understand priorities, productivity blockers, and staffing needs.
- Convert business issues into practical HR actions.
- Support a people strategy that backs sales growth, higher productivity, and stronger retention.
- Join business review discussions and bring HR insight through data-led analysis.
- Serve as a dependable advisor to leadership on organizational effectiveness and people-related decisions.
Attrition management and workforce stability
- Study attrition patterns by employee cohort, manager, geography, tenure band, and hiring source.
- Pinpoint the main drivers behind exits, including skill gaps, motivation, support, leadership quality, and hiring quality.
- Build and run retention actions for critical employee groups.
- Conduct regular check-ins and stay interviews with frontline staff.
- Partner with managers to improve engagement and reduce regrettable attrition.
Performance management and productivity
- Own performance governance across sales teams.
- Track productivity measures such as activation, conversion, gross sales, quality business, and manager effectiveness.
- Help managers spot underperformance trends and design improvement plans.
- Promote a strong performance culture through reviews, coaching structures, and accountability.
Talent acquisition and manpower planning
- Collaborate with hiring teams to support quality recruitment and manpower fulfillment.
- Take part in key hiring decisions for frontline and sales management positions.
- Evaluate candidates for resilience, sales orientation, and cultural fit.
- Drive manpower optimization and efficient deployment.
Capability building and leadership development
- Identify capability gaps in frontline sales employees and managers.
- Partner with Learning & Development to deliver programs on sales capability, leadership, communication, and managerial effectiveness.
- Support succession planning and movement of internal talent.
- Assist with assessment and development initiatives for employees transitioning from frontline roles to managers.
Employee relations and governance
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, and other sensitive people matters.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and governance standards.
- Support fair decision-making and ethical people practices.
- Contribute to culture-building and engagement initiatives across the sales workforce.
Data analytics and HR MIS
- Monitor and analyze HR measures such as attrition, hiring, productivity, engagement, span management, internal movement, and diversity.
- Create dashboards and leadership-ready insights.
- Use data to guide business choices and HR priorities.
Employee engagement
- Visit branches regularly to share important updates, surface employee concerns, and help close them in time.
- Plan and implement events that improve connection and collaboration among employees.
- Design and roll out an engagement calendar for all employees.
- Ensure communication forums are conducted regularly.
- Conceptualize and execute initiatives that support diversity.
HR operations and analytics
- Coordinate with the HR helpdesk to resolve operational queries.
- Prepare business HR MIS reports and dashboards on key HR metrics.
- Improve HR effectiveness by planning and implementing process enhancements.
- Support exits, transfers, and HRMS operational activities.
- Liaise with HR operations and payroll teams to resolve employee questions.
