Role Overview
The Regional Business Development Manager will focus on expanding NorthStar's reach in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and its neighboring areas within roughly a two-hour travel radius. This full-time hybrid role demands a relationship-driven and proactive individual eager to develop and sustain long-term client partnerships. The successful candidate will engage directly with market stakeholders, attend industry events, and represent NorthStar's broad range of disaster recovery and restoration services with professionalism and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the DFW region and its environs.
- Forge and maintain robust relationships with property owners, facility managers, risk managers, brokers, consultants, adjusters, and executive decision-makers.
- Represent the company at client meetings, professional events, industry associations, and networking opportunities.
- Advocate for NorthStar’s capabilities in emergency response, disaster recovery, environmental remediation, demolition, reconstruction, and restoration services.
- Educate clients on the importance of proactive disaster planning, emergency preparedness, and NorthStar’s Premier Response Program.
- Target accounts across various sectors including commercial real estate, hospitality, healthcare, education, manufacturing, retail, industrial, and public sectors.
- Collaborate with operations, estimating, safety, environmental, and leadership teams to address client needs efficiently.
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, client communications, and strategic development plans.
- Utilize CRM systems to track business activities, prospects, and client interactions.
- Stay current on local market trends, industry challenges, risk exposures, insurance dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
- Promote a culture of team collaboration, responsiveness, accountability, and professionalism.

- Professional confidence engaging with executives, property leaders, and risk management professionals.
- Good organizational skills handling multiple priorities effectively.
- Comfortable working independently but aligned with broader company objectives.
- Experience in restoration, disaster recovery, construction, environmental services, insurance, real estate, hospitality, or healthcare sectors is advantageous.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or related fields; equivalent professional experience considered.
- Willingness to travel locally within DFW and occasionally beyond for corporate and industry engagements.
