Regional Accountant

Role overview

The City School Group in Dubai is hiring a full-time Regional Accountant to take on a senior finance position supporting the Group CFO. This role has been introduced to meet the demands of business growth and capital project expansion, with a strong focus on financial strategy, reporting, and operational control.

What you will do

• Work closely with the Group Chief Financial Officer on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance review activities.
• Oversee daily accounting workflows, reporting routines, compliance requirements, and finance support for projects while maintaining accuracy and transparency.
• Maintain the reliability of financial statements, management reports, and internal controls in line with relevant accounting standards and internal policies.
• Guide, mentor, and strengthen the finance team to promote accountability, performance, and risk awareness.
• Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulators, and contribute to feasibility studies, business cases, and other financial evaluations when needed.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in financial management, strong leadership capability, and the ability to contribute strategic financial insight to the organization. A proven record in analysis, budgeting, and compliance is essential, along with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

A B.Com degree or an equivalent qualification in finance or accounting from a recognized university is required. The role calls for at least 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Applicants should be proficient in MS Office and financial software tools.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is AED 8,000 to AED 10,000.
