Within Gas Power, GE Vernova develops advanced natural gas power technologies, related services, and decarbonization solutions. FieldCore supports the installation, maintenance, and upgrading of power generation equipment so energy operators can deliver more dependable and affordable power.
Role Summary
The Region Operations Manager III will lead regional growth initiatives, strengthen customer value through business performance metrics, improve the use of the current contract portfolio, guide the region’s operating cadence, and support the wider business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Shape and execute growth plans that align with the region’s overall business direction.
- Improve customer outcomes by tracking key metrics and optimizing existing contracts.
- Create consistent operating processes and ensure compliance across segments, projects, and customers by maintaining a strong operating rhythm.
- Partner with the Operations Director, Service Director, and Service Managers to review outage execution challenges and strengthen safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost control, and productivity.
- Track region and subregion KPIs and help build action plans to achieve and exceed targets.
- Use lean and quality productivity tools to drive better process performance.
- Review EHS and quality results before and after outages in coordination with Site EHS Specialists and quality managers.
- Be prepared for travel as business needs require.
- Work holidays, weekends, and overtime when field assignments demand it.
- Maintain strong English communication skills.
- Lead, manage, and develop team members.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of combined experience in business administration, operations, field services, engineering, or similar areas.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in field services.
- Strong English proficiency.
Preferred Profile
- Master’s degree is an advantage.
- Strong abilities in management, customer service, and organization.
- Proven field engineering background with solid mechanical and technical expertise, especially in power generation outage maintenance.
- Familiarity with power generation products, services, and installation work.
- Strong commitment to continuous process improvement.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with limited supervision.
- Experience in contractual services.
- Excellent verbal, written, and leadership communication skills.
