Compensation and benefits

• Pay starts at $19.62 per hour and increases to $20.17 after 3 months.
• This is a full-time position with guaranteed hours, offering greater job security.
• The regular schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

What you will do

In this role, you will work on the plant floor and help keep material flow organized, efficient, and compliant with production needs.

• Sort, grade, and place recycled materials in the correct areas while following production standards and safety expectations.
• Follow company policies and required safety procedures at all times.
• Carry out daily housekeeping tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Support additional duties assigned by the Lead Sorter or Supervisors, including yard and plant cleanup as well as office paper sorting.
• Adjust to a recycling environment that continues to evolve and expand.
• Handle grading and sorting of bulk loads of loose materials.

What we are looking for

• Someone who is open to cross-training and long-term growth.
• Strong hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to remain standing for the full shift.
• Comfort working in a plant setting with seasonal exposure to both heat and cold.
