Role overview

We are hiring on behalf of a partner organization that will handle applications and the rest of the hiring process. They are seeking a Recruitment Team Lead in Ireland for a remote-first leadership position.

In this role, you will guide a high-performing talent acquisition team to deliver hiring results that are fast, consistent, and quality-driven. You will balance hands-on technical recruiting with people management, work closely with hiring managers, and shape recruitment practices using data and process improvements. The position is well suited to an experienced technical recruiter who enjoys leading others in a dynamic, international setting.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive end-to-end recruitment delivery for active hiring priorities, making sure technical roles are filled on time and to a high standard.
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of recruiters by clarifying goals, upholding quality benchmarks, and encouraging ongoing development.
  • Run intake discussions with hiring managers to define role needs clearly and provide practical guidance on priorities and expectations.
  • Review recruitment funnels, study conversion data, spot blockers, and refine approaches to improve hiring results.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers through regular updates, transparent communication, and proactive alignment.
  • Partner with sourcing teams to allocate effort effectively and keep candidate pipelines healthy across open roles.
  • Measure and share core hiring metrics such as time to fill, offer acceptance, pipeline conversion, and overall recruitment performance.
  • Help maintain future talent pipelines by keeping suitable candidates engaged for potential upcoming opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical recruitment, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role or as a senior recruiter.
  • Successful background hiring senior software engineering or other specialized technical talent, preferably in consulting, professional services, or fast-growing technology businesses.
  • Experience managing several recruiting priorities and stakeholder relationships at the same time.
  • Strong capability in leading structured intake meetings and collaborating effectively with hiring managers throughout the process.
  • Previous exposure to coaching, mentoring, or leading recruiters while supporting high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Well-developed organizational, prioritization, and time-management abilities to handle competing demands.
  • Solid knowledge of recruitment analytics, including pipeline tracking, conversion performance, time-to-fill, and hiring metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, plus a strong focus on candidate experience.
  • Experience working with sourcing teams and shared recruitment resources will be an added advantage.
