Role Overview

The Recruitment Specialist (Contract-Sourcer) based in Bangalore plays a pivotal role in supporting comprehensive talent acquisition sourcing activities. This position involves identifying, engaging, and cultivating potential talent pools to meet prevailing and future organizational hiring demands. The individual will collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to ensure timely recruitment of quality candidates by employing effective sourcing strategies and conducting market research.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct sourcing of candidates across diverse business functions and roles.
  • Engage talent via multiple channels such as job portals, LinkedIn, internal databases, and referrals.
  • Screen candidate profiles initially in line with role requirements and business goals.
  • Develop and uphold a strong talent pipeline for immediate and forthcoming recruitment needs.
  • Communicate regularly with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify job expectations and sourcing priorities.
  • Arrange interview schedules and ensure seamless coordination throughout the recruitment cycle.
  • Manage and update candidate data in Applicant Tracking and HR Management Systems such as Workday.
  • Produce accurate sourcing reports, trackers, and dashboards reflecting recruitment data.
  • Oversee and verify employee document accuracy and completeness in designated folders according to document retention policies.
  • Identify and manage missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Maintain organized document structures while ensuring compliance with relevant policies.
  • Update and control data in tracking tools including Excel, SharePoint, and Azure.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders including Talent Acquisition teams and Background Verification vendors to support smooth document reconciliation.
  • Safeguard confidentiality and integrity of candidate information throughout the recruitment process.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Sourcing, or HR Operations.

Technical and Functional Skills

  • Practical experience with sourcing platforms including LinkedIn and various job portals.
  • Familiarity with ATS and HRMS systems, preferably Workday.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data management.
  • Experience in document management and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Understanding of Pre-Onboarding and Background Verification workflows.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to identify and screen candidates effectively.
  • Adept at operating in a fast-moving and high-volume recruitment environment.
  • Capability to manage several job requisitions and timelines concurrently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Skillful in multitasking and adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience sourcing for Shared Services or Global Capability Centers.
  • Exposure to recruitment analytics and market intelligence tools.
  • Background in bulk hiring and specialist talent sourcing.
  • Familiarity with Background Verification vendors and onboarding procedures.
  • Knowledge of numerous recruitment tools and platforms.
  • Orientation towards process improvements and automation implementations.
