About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a skilled Recruitment Partner focused on sourcing security cleared professionals to join the Talent Acquisition team. This full-time, permanent position is based in Sydney's CBD office, requiring attendance five days a week, with Melbourne as an alternative location. You will be instrumental in transforming hiring strategies by deploying innovative sourcing methods to identify and engage top talent across a variety of technology disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand job requirements and develop targeted recruiting plans.
- Establish and nurture a network of potential candidates through market research and ongoing relationship management, assessing cultural fit and motivation.
- Effectively utilize diverse sourcing channels, including employee referrals, internal databases, online portals, and job fairs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the talent market, proposing strategies to enhance long-term talent acquisition efforts.
- Implement and refine recruiting processes aligned with Amazon's commitment to quality results.
- Apply data-driven methods to achieve recruitment operational excellence.
- Educate hiring managers and interviewers on best practices and interview techniques.
Basic Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for positions requiring high security clearance or extensive knowledge of the defense talent sector.
- Minimum of 5 years technical recruiting experience in dynamic environments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent searches and stakeholders.
- Strong creative sourcing skills with the ability to build active talent pipelines.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation abilities with a business-focused mindset.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent post-secondary qualification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience optimizing recruitment processes.
- Proven capacity to collaborate and influence across diverse teams and organizations.
- Skilled in using data analytics to design, measure, and scale staffing workflows for faster hiring results.
