About the Role

In this position, you will lead hiring efforts for fleet-related roles and broader recruitment needs by creating and delivering talent acquisition plans that support business objectives. You will oversee the end-to-end hiring process, coordinate closely with department leaders, guide the recruitment team, and help ensure every candidate has a smooth and positive journey. A major part of the role is also to strengthen the employer brand and position the company as an attractive place to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and put into action hiring strategies that match organizational priorities.
  • Handle the complete recruitment process from vacancy creation and advertising through to onboarding.
  • Run large-scale hiring drives and fleet-focused recruitment initiatives, filling high-volume positions quickly without compromising candidate quality.
  • Work with hiring managers to define manpower requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Find and engage candidates through multiple channels such as job boards, social networks, direct sourcing, and referral programs.
  • Carry out preliminary interviews and shortlist applicants based on suitability and qualifications.
  • Improve the applicant journey across every stage of hiring.
  • Maintain a healthy talent pool for upcoming vacancies.
  • Monitor recruitment performance indicators such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and hiring platforms to support sourcing efforts.
  • Make sure all hiring activities follow labor regulations and internal policies.
  • Support the company’s reputation as an employer of choice.
  • Take part in HR initiatives related to workforce planning, inclusive hiring, and onboarding enhancements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; a master’s degree would be an added advantage.
  • At least 7 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership position.
  • Hands-on experience in bulk hiring, high-volume recruitment, and fleet hiring operations.
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end recruitment and current sourcing practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated capability to contribute as a team member while also leading talent acquisition teams effectively.
  • Experience managing recruitment agencies and building productive vendor partnerships.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR technology tools.
  • Ability to juggle several open roles and stay organized in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strategic mindset with sound decision-making and strong organizational skills.
  • Helpful but not mandatory: knowledge of Qatar labor laws and HR best practices, experience with employer branding, and exposure to recruitment analytics.
