Overview
This is an opportunity for an experienced 360 recruiter to join an established US-focused Engineering or Technology team in Billericay, Essex. The position is office-based, with a five-day working week, and is designed for someone who wants a stronger earning platform, faster progression, and the chance to work in a high-growth STEM market.
The role offers access to live opportunities from the start rather than requiring you to create a desk from nothing. You will be supported by experienced leaders, delivery support, and the infrastructure needed to build a profitable desk and grow long-term in recruitment.
Working pattern
This is an on-site role in Billericay, England, United Kingdom. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Availability to work US market hours is required.
What the role involves
You will own the full recruitment process across the US Engineering or Technology market, managing both client and candidate activity from start to finish.
- Develop and deepen relationships with clients in the US Engineering and Technology sectors
- Identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts
- Handle vacancies from the first client briefing through to placement
- Source, attract, and engage skilled STEM professionals
- Advise clients with market insight, salary guidance, and hiring recommendations
- Lead offer negotiation and keep the recruitment process moving to completion
- Grow revenue and build a consistently profitable desk
Who the employer is looking for
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, highly driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving recruitment environment. You should already have experience handling a 360 recruitment desk and be confident in both business development and relationship management.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a 360 recruitment position
- Background in STEM recruitment, preferably in Technology, Engineering, Data, Infrastructure, or a similar field
- Proven success in winning business and managing client relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities
- A competitive, ambitious, and financially motivated approach
- Long-term commitment to career growth in recruitment
- Ability to work US market hours
