About the Role
Join our expanding Permanent Recruitment team as a motivated and commercially savvy Recruitment Consultant. This position suits individuals who thrive in roles combining business development and recruitment execution. You will be responsible for securing new clients, forging strong professional relationships, and achieving successful candidate placements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business through cold calling, networking, client meetings, referrals, and market research.
- Maintain robust client relationships by understanding their recruitment needs, strategic priorities, and talent challenges.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including job briefing, candidate sourcing, interview coordination, offer management, and successful closure of placements.
- Utilize platforms such as job portals, LinkedIn, and internal databases to source and screen competent candidates.
- Advise clients on talent market trends, salary standards, and effective recruitment strategies.
- Ensure excellent candidate experience by maintaining professional communication and follow-up throughout recruitment.
- Negotiate contract terms including salaries, offers, and placement fees when necessary.
- Keep an active sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed revenue and activity benchmarks.
- Maintain accurate records of client, candidate, and sales data in CRM or ATS systems.
- Represent the organization with professionalism and contribute to desk growth and market reputation.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 1 to 3 years in recruitment, sales, business development, client management, or related client-facing roles.
- Strong proactive business development skills with confidence to pursue and convert new clients.
- Ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and manage client expectations effectively.
- Commercially driven, resilient, target-oriented, with motivation to achieve revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Capability to multitask across various roles, clients, and candidates within a dynamic environment.
- Previous recruitment agency experience preferred but not mandatory.
Ideal Profile
The preferred candidate is proactive, confident in client engagement, and enthusiastic about handling both sales and recruitment delivery. A strong inclination toward business development and ownership of the recruitment process is essential.
