Role overview
We are looking for a driven Recruiter who can help source, assess, and hire strong talent while supporting a smooth and positive candidate journey. This position works closely with hiring managers, applicants, and outside recruiting partners to meet current and future staffing needs in line with company standards and applicable regulations.
What you will do
- Create and execute sourcing plans that bring in qualified candidates for both immediate and future openings.
- Handle internal and external job advertisements so roles are positioned effectively and reach the widest relevant audience.
- Act as the main point of contact for recruiting agencies, advertising partners, temporary staffing firms, placement offices, and outreach recruitment programs.
- Coordinate recruitment marketing efforts while staying aligned with federal, state, and internal hiring rules.
- Develop and nurture relationships with talent sources and recruiting partners to keep pipelines active and reliable.
- Take part in hiring events, career fairs, community outreach, and other talent acquisition activities.
- Review resumes, screen candidates, and carry out early-stage phone, virtual, or in-person interviews.
- Assess qualifications and recommend suitable candidates to hiring managers for the next stage.
- Guide hiring managers and other staff on effective screening, testing, and interviewing approaches.
- Keep candidates informed about status updates and next steps throughout the hiring process.
- Answer questions from employees, applicants, field recruiters, and other stakeholders about staffing and career opportunities.
- Maintain accurate recruitment documentation and support a respectful, high-quality candidate experience from start to finish.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline is preferred. The ideal candidate should have experience across the full recruitment cycle, talent acquisition, or broader HR work. Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate evaluation abilities are important, along with clear written and verbal communication. You should be comfortable building relationships with candidates, managers, and external partners, and have working knowledge of employment law, hiring best practices, and compliance expectations. Strong organization and the ability to manage several requisitions at once are also essential. Experience using ATS tools, recruiting platforms, and Microsoft Office is required.
