Overview
Tesla is seeking a Recruiter to support its Manufacturing organization in Austin, TX. The role calls for someone who can identify, attract, and evaluate talent while building strong partnerships with business leaders and HR stakeholders. Responsibilities
- Work closely with manufacturing leaders and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and recommend the most effective recruiting approach.
- Manage time and recruiting resources efficiently while keeping partners informed through regular, data-driven updates.
- Use multiple sourcing methods to find and engage high-quality passive candidates.
- Run structured behavioral interviews and phone screens to evaluate both technical fundamentals and fit for the Tesla environment.
- Deliver a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of high-volume recruitment experience in a manufacturing setting.
- A proven history of successfully sourcing and assessing technical talent.
- Strong relationship-management skills with hiring teams and business partners.
- Ability to guide stakeholders on talent sources and evaluation methods.
- Genuine interest in technology and a habit of continuous learning.
- Experience with offer negotiation, awareness of employment law, and familiarity with labor market trends.
- Capability to lead projects through to completion while maintaining both efficiency and quality.
- Background that includes both corporate recruiting and agency or executive search experience is preferred.
