About the Role

Seranova, a fast-growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand, is expanding its teams across various departments including Creative, Marketing, Operations, Product, and Customer Experience. We are seeking a dedicated In-House Recruiter to manage the complete recruitment cycle—from job postings to initial candidate interviews—to deliver qualified hires swiftly. This position requires prior experience recruiting for DTC, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire recruitment process across all departments.
  • Collaborate closely with department leaders to define job requirements, evaluation criteria, and scorecards.
  • Publish job openings on multiple platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, Workable, RemoteOK, and specialized creator/marketing boards.
  • Administer and optimize paid job campaigns focusing on cost and applicant quality efficiency.
  • Maintain organized candidate pipelines using applicant tracking systems (ATS) like ClickUp, Workable, or Greenhouse.
  • Screen candidates rigorously, conduct brief initial interviews of 15-20 minutes, and identify those fitting the company's culture emphasizing speed, ownership, numeric skills, and a performance-driven attitude.
  • Pre-assess candidates for relevant skills, salary expectations, time zone compatibility, and availability.
  • Decline unsuitable candidates promptly and respectfully, valuing speed in the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers throughout candidate progression, prepare concise candidate summaries, and organize further assessment steps.
  • Maintain updated and clean records within ATS systems and keep role statuses current daily.
  • Develop talent pipelines for common roles such as editors, UGC creators, media buyers, customer experience representatives, and operations positions.
  • Monitor vital recruitment KPIs including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, screening-to-offer ratios, and applicant quality scores.
  • Continuously enhance hiring methods, including templates, scorecards, and interview scripts.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

  • At least two years of recruiting experience either in-house or within agencies.
  • Demonstrated recruitment expertise in DTC, e-commerce, or subscription-based model companies.
  • Familiar with hiring for roles such as editors, creative strategists, media buyers, UGC managers, customer experience agents, operations managers, and supply chain professionals.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to perform effectively under fast-paced and high-output conditions.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and meticulous about details.
  • Experience utilizing and maintaining applicant tracking systems, including Greenhouse, Workable, ClickUp, or Lever.
  • Strong aptitude for rapid talent evaluation and confident decision-making.
