Recreation Experience Expert (Pool Attendant)

Position Summary

Join as a vital team member supporting all recreational activities available within the property. Provide guests with comprehensive information about the facility's recreation offerings, including pools, beach areas, entertainment zones, fitness centers, and children’s activity centers. Motivate, enlist, register, and organize guest participation in these recreational activities, fostering an enjoyable and relaxed environment. Enforce safety rules and regulations established for recreational spaces to safeguard guest welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor recreational areas, promptly responding to emergencies in line with local protocols.
• Perform cashier functions for venues that involve point-of-sale transactions.
• Assist in managing private events, group activities, and other special functions within recreational settings.
• Identify situations where guests may be unable to safely engage in activities and inform supervisors accordingly.
• Provide first aid support to injured guests until emergency services arrive.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of facilities, equipment, and supplies used for recreation.
• Report safety incidents, hazardous conditions, or accidents to management and complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Adhere strictly to company policies, uphold a professional appearance, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Greet guests in accordance with company standards, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in person and on telephone, following proper etiquette.
• Foster constructive working relationships with colleagues to support team goals.
• Handle payment processing for equipment rentals, recreational activities, facility bookings, and retail sales.
• Meet quality assurance standards at all times during work duties.
• Read and validate detail-oriented information across formats and perform thorough inspection of tools, equipment, or machines to detect faults.
• Operate computers and point-of-sale systems to enter and retrieve job-related data.
• Be physically active throughout the shift, including standing, sitting, or walking for long periods; lift and move objects up to 25 pounds independently or heavier items with help; navigate various challenging environments within the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• No prior work experience required.
• No supervisory experience needed.

Mandatory Certifications

• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Any additional certifications or training as required by local regulatory agencies for recreation equipment handling.
