Role overview

This part-time Records Officer position is based in Dubai and follows a hybrid setup, so the work will be split between on-site duties and some work-from-home flexibility. The main focus of the role is to keep both paper and digital records well organized, accurate, complete, and easy to retrieve when needed.

Core duties

You will oversee the full records lifecycle, including sorting, indexing, classifying, updating, and maintaining records. The role also covers supporting archive access, handling retrieval requests from colleagues, and making sure records are stored securely and disposed of appropriately when they are no longer required.

Another part of the job is to help maintain compliance with internal procedures, confidentiality rules, and data protection standards. You may also be asked to prepare straightforward status reports, recommend ways to improve records processes, and assist with the smooth day-to-day administration of the networking group.

Qualifications and skills

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with records and document systems, have a strong eye for detail, and be able to manage confidential information responsibly. Good organization, analytical thinking, and time management are important, along with familiarity with office software and basic document or cloud-based storage tools.

Experience in records handling, administration, or office management would be useful. A diploma or degree in Information Management, Library Science, Business Administration, or a similar subject is also considered an advantage. Strong English communication skills and the ability to work well in a professional, diverse team environment are beneficial.
