About the Role
Expeditors is seeking an enthusiastic Receptionist/Pricing Coordinator to join our Melbourne branch in Keilor East, Victoria. This role is crucial as the "Face of the company" and will provide essential support to the administration team. We are looking for an organized and customer-focused individual who can manage multiple tasks effectively while upholding company standards. This is a full-time, onsite position with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and visitors, providing a welcoming first impression.
- Manage incoming calls, accurately taking messages and directing inquiries to the appropriate personnel or department.
- Ensure the reception area is consistently maintained in a professional and presentable manner.
- Maintain a visitor log for security purposes.
- Efficiently distribute incoming mail to the relevant recipients.
- Process and manage paperwork for drivers.
- Monitor and manage office stationary stock levels, ensuring adequate supplies.
- Provide administrative and operational support to management, administration, and other departments as needed.
- Liaise with overseas offices to obtain and confirm shipping rates and costs.
- Prepare and dispatch quotations to customers, diligently following up on outcomes and recording data.
- Maintain and update rate cards within the designated repository.
- Uphold company policies, regulations, and cultural attributes with integrity and pride.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- A good typing speed.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- A positive and helpful attitude.
- Professional demeanor and attire aligning with company culture.
- A foundational understanding of supply chain, freight forwarding, and Incoterms is advantageous.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal authorization to work in Australia.
