Role Summary
The property is looking for a careful and well-organized Receiving Clerk to support operations in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. This position focuses on handling incoming deliveries, checking items for accuracy, recording receipts, and helping maintain a smooth and reliable inventory process for a luxury hotel environment.
Key Duties
- Accept, examine, and confirm all incoming deliveries and shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
- Record received goods accurately in inventory systems and keep thorough receiving logs.
- Spot shortages, damage, or mismatches and quickly escalate them to management and suppliers.
- Arrange and place delivered items in the correct storage locations while following safety and storage procedures.
- Keep the receiving area and warehouse tidy, secure, and well organized.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams about delivery timing and stock movement.
- Process, sort, and archive receiving paperwork in an orderly and timely way.
- Handle physical tasks such as unloading, transporting, and arranging goods as required.
- Support stock counts and cycle checks to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Comply with all company policies, operating procedures, and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
- Previous experience in a Receiving Clerk, warehouse, or similar inventory-focused role is required.
- Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage several tasks efficiently.
- Comfort with data entry and basic computer use; experience with inventory systems is an advantage.
- Good verbal and written communication, plus strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to lift, carry, and move heavy items regularly.
- Physical readiness to work in a receiving or warehouse setting.
- Understanding of inventory control methods and best practices.
- Forklift use or experience with material handling equipment is preferred.
- Background in hospitality is considered an added benefit.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and getting work done efficiently.
