Role overview
The Real Estate and Facilities function within Corporate Services was created in June 2015 and has expanded with the business to support a large international property footprint. The team handles the full real estate lifecycle, including space planning, transactions, project delivery, facilities operations, and environmental, health, and safety work, with a focus on building workspaces that encourage collaboration and performance.
This opening is for an Assistant Project Manager to support office projects across the North and South America portfolio. The role partners with GRE and cost management teams to help control project finances and coordinate approvals, processing, and communication with both internal stakeholders and outside partners.
Key responsibilities
- Handle payment requests and change orders, while coordinating closely with Procurement, Legal, and Accounts Payable.
- Respond to budget and work-related requests from external consultants such as general contractors, project managers, cost managers, architects, and furniture vendors.
- Partner with the internal cost manager to monitor and evaluate real estate project spending.
- Prepare and update logs and reports covering budgets, invoices, committed costs, budget gaps, cash flow forecasts, project contingencies, and contract changes.
- Coordinate cost data across multiple internal systems.
- Maintain project closeout records and supporting documentation.
- Help ensure compliance by consistently following company policies and procedures.
- Support coordination of project tasks and deliverables, including data analysis as needed.
- Work with the Project Manager and partner teams to improve workflows and systems for better efficiency.
- Promote alignment and productive collaboration across teams to support project delivery strategy execution.
Required qualifications
- A strong academic background in a problem-solving and analytical field such as business, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in the design and construction industry, ideally with commercial real estate exposure.
- Strong analytical ability, including tracking data, schedules, and resources accurately.
- Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work through complex issues.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, especially in cross-functional settings.
- High attention to detail, good time management, and the flexibility to adapt to shifting project priorities.
- Self-driven mindset with a strong willingness to learn and grow.
Preferred experience
- Familiarity with project management tools or software.
- Working knowledge of construction industry terminology and processes.
- Exposure to scheduling, budgeting, or risk management.

Pay and benefits
The annual base salary range for this role in the selected city is USD 86,400 to USD 136,000. Compensation may differ outside this range based on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. In addition to base pay, the position may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
