Role overview
An opportunity is available for a Radiographer with CT and mammography experience to join the Braddon clinic on a permanent full-time basis. This role suits someone who is eager to grow in a busy, encouraging setting and broaden their capability across multiple imaging modalities. Experience with BMD and other specialist modalities is an advantage, although suitable training can be offered to the right person.
You will work as part of a cooperative, patient-first team, helping deliver accurate imaging services and supporting strong clinical outcomes for patients.
Key duties
- Carry out diagnostic imaging procedures across CT, mammography, and standard X-ray.
- Assist with specialised services such as BMD and other imaging modalities when needed.
- Provide considerate patient care while maintaining safety, privacy, and comfort.
- Review imaging referrals and complete procedures in line with legislation, internal policies, and clinical protocols.
- Maintain excellent image quality and follow radiation safety standards.
- Help foster a constructive, team-oriented, and patient-centred workplace.

Requirements
- Proven CT experience and competence, which is essential for the role.
- Mammography experience and accreditation, which is highly desirable.
- BMD experience and/or experience in other specialist modalities, which is desirable; training may be provided.
- Strong commitment to patient-focused care and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work well both autonomously and within a collaborative team.
- Relevant qualification in medical imaging.
- Current AHPRA registration and a Radiation Use Licence, or the ability to meet ACT licensing requirements.
