Role overview

An opening is available for a Radiographer to join the Clayfield clinic on a permanent full-time basis. This position suits someone with CT capability who wants to broaden their experience across more specialised imaging areas. Experience in mammography, EOS, and BMD would be an advantage, although training may be arranged for the right person.

You will work as part of a cooperative, patient-focused team, delivering high-quality imaging services across a broad mix of modalities and helping to achieve strong clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT and general X-ray.
  • Assist with specialised services such as mammography, EOS, and BMD, with training provided where needed.
  • Provide caring, respectful patient support while protecting safety, comfort, and confidentiality.
  • Review imaging requests and complete procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and clinical protocols.
  • Maintain excellent image quality and uphold radiation safety standards.
  • Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment focused on patient care.

Requirements

  • Proven CT experience is essential.
  • Prior exposure to mammography, EOS, and/or BMD is preferred, though training can be provided.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Relevant qualification in Medical Imaging.
  • Current AHPRA registration and Radiation Use Licence.
  • Full working rights in Australia.
