Job description
About Qscan Group
Qscan Group brings together several diagnostic imaging brands across Australia, including Qscan Radiology Clinics, South East Radiology, North Coast Radiology, Alpenglow Radiology, and Envision Medical Imaging. The organisation focuses on delivering high-quality medical imaging services supported by advanced equipment and radiologists with specialist training.
Its approach centres on patient-first care, strong clinical standards, and ongoing professional growth so that both patients and referrers receive dependable outcomes.
Role overview
This opportunity is for two Radiographers to join the South East NSW team in Nowra. The positions are full-time and follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
The work spans multiple locations, including Nowra, Ulladulla, and Nowra Private Hospital, offering a varied caseload and exposure to several imaging environments within a collaborative team.
Mammography experience is a valued advantage, and candidates who are already trained or interested in developing this capability may have the chance to support breast imaging services.
Key duties
- Provide safe, empathetic, and patient-focused care throughout imaging procedures.
- Carry out high-quality general X-ray and CT examinations.
- Take part in mammography services if already trained or if willing to develop the skill.
- Review imaging requests in accordance with clinical protocols and legal requirements.
- Ensure imaging output meets strong standards for clarity and diagnostic usefulness.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across clinics and with multidisciplinary teams.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and keep building professional capability.
What you will get
- A competitive pay package plus employee discounts.
- Regular weekday hours that support a healthier work-life balance.
- The chance to rotate across Nowra, Ulladulla, and hospital-based settings.
- Access to internal development opportunities in CT, MRI, and Mammography.
- Support through an Employee Assistance Program.
- Paid parental leave and annual flu vaccinations.
South East NSW lifestyle
The role sits within the South East NSW network, which includes Nowra and Ulladulla, and combines coastal living with a wide variety of clinical work.
- Access to beaches, national parks, and a relaxed coastal environment.
- A close-knit community and the chance to make a real difference to patients.
- Short travel times and a better day-to-day balance.
- Opportunities to work across multiple locations and expand your experience.
- Convenient access to Sydney and Canberra for weekend trips.
Candidate profile
To be considered, you should hold AHPRA registration as a Radiographer and a valid Radiation Use Licence. Experience in general X-ray and CT is preferred, though recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Mammography experience is desirable, but training support is available for those willing to learn. You should also bring a strong commitment to patient-centred care, good clinical standards, clear communication, teamwork, flexibility to work across several sites in the region, and full working rights in Australia.
Additional information
This position is open to both experienced Radiographers and new graduates. The opening includes two full-time equivalent roles across Nowra, Ulladulla, and Nowra Private Hospital.
