About the Role
University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) is seeking enthusiastic Undergraduate Qualifying Radiographers to commence their careers in Diagnostic Radiography. UHL is a major hospital trust, serving over a million patients annually across three main sites with a workforce of approximately 17,000 staff. This Band 5 Radiographer position involves cross-site duties at all three primary UHL locations, with potential exposure to community sites.
Responsibilities
The role involves rotation through all plain film radiography areas, including Theatre, Paediatrics, Max Fax, and Mobile Radiography. There are also opportunities to collaborate with cross-sectional imaging teams in CT and gain experience in Forensic CT. As a newly registered diagnostic radiographer, you will be supported through a preceptorship period to develop your knowledge and skills, progressing towards autonomous practice.
Requirements
Essential qualifications include HCPC registration and prior experience as a student radiographer within the NHS. Candidates must possess strong communication and teamwork skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and drive. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple hospital sites.

Eligibility
