Role overview

In this Quantity Surveyor / Estimator position, you will support project delivery from a commercial and financial standpoint. The role involves estimating, valuation, reporting, and wider commercial administration across infrastructure-focused projects.

Key duties

  • Develop project cost estimates, bills of quantities, and quotation documents.
  • Handle subcontractor and supplier pricing, valuations, and related commercial reports.
  • Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, variation submissions, and extension-of-time claims.
  • Support tender preparation and contract administration tasks.
  • Assist project teams with procurement, cost management, and broader commercial activities.

Required background and capabilities

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or another relevant field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or commercial management.
  • Hands-on experience with BOQs, valuations, cost control, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Exposure to construction, infrastructure, utilities, civil engineering, or electrical project environments.
  • Strong commercial judgement and advanced Excel and reporting ability.

Compensation and benefits

  • Annual salary in the range of €60,000 to €70,000, depending on experience.
