Job description

Role overview

We are looking for a Quality Specialist to help build and sustain quality assurance practices within a regulated technical setting in the United Arab Emirates. The position focuses on ensuring compliance with nuclear-related regulations, internal procedures, and applicable industry standards while supporting day-to-day quality activities across teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation, rollout, and upkeep of QA programs aligned with nuclear regulations and relevant industry standards.
  • Carry out internal audits, site checks, and assessments to confirm adherence to procedures, specifications, and regulatory obligations.
  • Examine quality-related records such as inspection logs, test documentation, and supplier qualification files.
  • Help determine the underlying causes of nonconformities and assist with corrective and preventive action follow-up.
  • Track supplier performance and support vendor audit activities whenever needed.
  • Partner with engineering, operations, and project stakeholders to keep quality requirements consistently on track.
  • Maintain precise QA records and ensure document control practices are properly applied.
  • Take part in continuous improvement work aimed at strengthening quality, safety, and operational results.

Qualifications and experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Nuclear Technology, or another closely related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
  • Background in quality assurance or quality control in the nuclear sector or another highly regulated technical environment.
  • Working knowledge of NQA-1, ISO 9001, DOE O 414.1, or comparable nuclear quality frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of inspection techniques, QA paperwork, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on exposure to audits, NCR/CAPA handling, and supplier quality oversight.
  • Strong eye for detail, good organization, and well-developed problem-solving skills.

Additional information

This role is based in the United Arab Emirates and is offered as a full-time onsite position.
