Position Overview

The Quality Control Reviewer within the Sample Management Department is tasked with thoroughly reviewing documentation related to sample management to maintain high-quality standards. This role involves conducting internal audits, drafting and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to sample handling and glass washing, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct complete quality control reviews of all documentation generated by the sample management team.
• Oversee quality assurance processes within the sample management group.
• Plan, carry out, and report on audits conducted within the team.
• Fill out additional forms as required to guarantee documentation accuracy and completeness.
• Handle documentation tracking deviations and non-conformance within the team.
• Respond to quality assurance citations appropriately.
• Maintain an organized archive of documentation.
• Author, update, and evaluate SOPs concerning sample management and glass washing.
• Develop and revise training materials related to the department’s processes.
• Stay informed on relevant regulatory changes and industry standards.
• Complete all duties in compliance with applicable SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), aligning with company policies.
• Engage in ongoing learning through training sessions, meetings, and internal communications to stay current with new procedures and techniques.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum education: high school diploma or higher qualification in health sciences or related fields, with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of FDA regulations including GLP, GCP, and TPD guidelines.
• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or medical industries is considered advantageous.
• Excellent organizational, communication (both written and verbal), and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Proven leadership capabilities with decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
• Customer-focused approach in all responsibilities.
• Fluency in both French and English is mandatory.
• Proficiency in software tools such as Microsoft Access, Outlook, MS Office suite, and Watson.
