Job Summary
We are seeking a Quality Auditor to join our team in Macon, GA. The role involves performing comprehensive packing audits on incoming orders at the request of the supervisor, with opportunities to expand skills in quality audits, measurements, and using systems such as PLM and Factory Inspection Web.
Primary Responsibilities
- Execute detailed packing audits on incoming shipments following Watch List Guidelines.
- Confirm that merchandise packing aligns accurately with PLM package documentation.
- Gradually enhance knowledge in quality auditing processes, including measurements and the use of PLM and Factory Inspection Web tools.
- Assist in performing special projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Attributes
- Eagerness and ability to learn all facets of Quality Assurance.
- Strict adherence to established policies and procedures with sharp attention to detail.
- Willingness and capability to learn PLM system to retrieve necessary information for accurate quality control audits.
- Ability to operate scanners efficiently.
Physical and Work Environment
- Typical physical activities include sitting, standing, reaching, walking, speaking, and listening.
- Handle boxes weighing up to 40 pounds as part of routine duties.
- Work environment noise level is moderate.
Qualifications
- Minimum education requirement is a High School Diploma.
Compensation
Pay rate is $16.50 per hour.
