About The Opportunity
We are a rapidly growing fintech leader based in the United States, specializing in digital lending and capital markets solutions that enable small businesses and institutional partners with scalable, real-time, and compliant financing options. Our Quality Assurance (QA) team is vital in guaranteeing the highest levels of reliability, security, and regulatory compliance across all product releases, impacting millions in financial transactions and regulatory adherence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee complete QA strategies across web, API, and mobile platforms including planning, execution, and continuous enhancement of QA practices.
- Develop and run automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright for various types of testing including regression, smoke, and API validation integrated with CI/CD workflows.
- Work closely with DevOps and product teams to incorporate QA processes into sprint cycles and promote shift-left testing methodologies to increase release speed and quality.
- Establish and sustain test coverage benchmarks, defect management processes, and prioritize defects based on risk aligned with critical business functions.
- Ensure QA activities comply with key U.S. financial regulations, including SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR, focusing on test validations for data handling and audits.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior QA analysts while promoting best practices through documentation, code reviews, and standardizing QA tools.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright for automation testing.
- Experience with JIRA and TestRail for test management and defect tracking.
- Strong familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to automate QA processes.
- Expertise in API testing methodologies.
- Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance and other relevant financial industry standards.
- Preferred: Experience with Postman, designing QA automation frameworks, and background in financial services QA.
