Quality Assurance Analyst - Remote (Australia Only, Entry-Level)

About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous and quality-focused Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst eager to contribute to delivering outstanding software experiences. This full-time remote role is open exclusively to candidates based in Australia. The role involves working closely with development teams to ensure software products meet high standards of quality and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, execute, and update comprehensive test plans, test cases, and related documentation.
• Conduct various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory across different software applications.
• Detect, document, and manage software defects until they are resolved.
• Validate fixes and confirm product quality before release.
• Collaborate actively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the product development cycle.
• Support initiatives related to test automation and contribute towards ongoing quality improvements.
• Prepare detailed testing reports and communicate findings to project teams.
• Continuously help enhance QA processes, testing methods, and best practices.

Candidate Requirements

• Good understanding of software testing fundamentals and quality assurance practices.
• Experience or familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of testing methods applicable to web, mobile, and API platforms.
• Some exposure to automation testing tools or scripting languages is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to identify problems and propose solutions.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
