Role overview
Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools is hiring a qualified educator to work across its settings. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity in London.
What you'll do
- Deliver attentive care and early education for children from birth to age 5.
- Prepare and lead activities aligned to EYFS that are engaging and age-appropriate.
- Foster a safe, warm, and supportive environment where children can learn and develop.
- Track children's progress through observation and assessment, and flag any concerns.
- Work closely with parents and colleagues to meet each child's individual needs.
- Keep development notes and other records accurate and up to date.
- Ensure the nursery remains tidy, organised, and well maintained.
- Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures to protect children's wellbeing.
What we're looking for
- A minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or another full and relevant early years qualification.
- Experience in a nursery or childcare environment.
- A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Understanding of child development principles and early years practice.
- Ability to contribute effectively within a team.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- Awareness of childcare rules and legislation, including safeguarding.
