Role overview

Miss Daisy's Nursery Schools is hiring a qualified educator to work across its settings. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity in London.

What you'll do

  • Deliver attentive care and early education for children from birth to age 5.
  • Prepare and lead activities aligned to EYFS that are engaging and age-appropriate.
  • Foster a safe, warm, and supportive environment where children can learn and develop.
  • Track children's progress through observation and assessment, and flag any concerns.
  • Work closely with parents and colleagues to meet each child's individual needs.
  • Keep development notes and other records accurate and up to date.
  • Ensure the nursery remains tidy, organised, and well maintained.
  • Follow health, safety, and safeguarding procedures to protect children's wellbeing.

What we're looking for

  • A minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, or another full and relevant early years qualification.
  • Experience in a nursery or childcare environment.
  • A patient, empathetic approach and a genuine interest in working with children.
  • Understanding of child development principles and early years practice.
  • Ability to contribute effectively within a team.
  • Paediatric First Aid.
  • Awareness of childcare rules and legislation, including safeguarding.
