Job Summary

Al Marwan Group is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Engineer to ensure and uphold quality standards throughout our heavy civil and infrastructure projects. This role demands extensive knowledge of quality assurance, adherence to UAE regulations and international benchmarks, and the capability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders to guarantee successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, examine, and implement Project Quality Plans (PQP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
• Perform daily inspections on earthworks, asphalt paving, concrete structures, excavations, and utility installations.
• Review and approve Method Statements, Material Submittals, and laboratory test results.
• Identify quality deficiencies, issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate and supervise the testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, steel, and other construction materials.
• Conduct internal quality audits and assist in maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Act as a liaison with consultants, clients, and regulatory bodies during inspection processes.
• Verify that all construction activities conform to contract specifications, international standards, and the requirements of UAE authorities.
• Generate comprehensive quality reports and maintain meticulous project documentation.
• Contribute to ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing project quality processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Possess at least 5 years of dedicated QA/QC experience in heavy civil and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrate proven experience within the UAE, specifically on roads, bridges, and infrastructure works.
• Exhibit a strong understanding of UAE authority regulations and international standards such as AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, and BS EN.
• An ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification is considered an advantage.
• Possess excellent analytical, reporting, and communication capabilities.
• Show strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
• Be proficient in Google Workspace and familiar with project management and document control systems.
