Finishing Supervisor

Job Summary

A leading real estate firm is looking for meticulous and well-organized individuals to join their team as Finishing Supervisors. The role involves ensuring that all finishing activities adhere to superior quality, aesthetic, and consistency benchmarks, aligning with approved designs and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of all finishing work to verify adherence to approved specifications and achieve first-time quality approval.
• Identify, document, and monitor all defects, ensuring complete transparency and timely resolution.
• Guarantee that all finishes precisely match approved materials, colors, and design specifications through close collaboration with design teams.
• Supervise finishing contractors, enforce high workmanship standards, and promptly rectify any substandard work.
• Lead the snagging process, ensuring all identified issues are resolved before project handover, resulting in fully client-ready units.
• Maintain precise defect logs and furnish daily progress reports on finishing activities and issue resolution.
• Ensure all units are completed to a client-ready standard, free from any outstanding critical defects.
• Implement immediate corrective actions for any defective or substandard work.
• Prevent the use of unauthorized material substitutions or deviations from approved finishing standards.

Requirements and Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction finishing.
• A robust understanding of finishing materials, installation techniques, and quality benchmarks.
• Outstanding attention to detail and adept problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience in managing finishing subcontractors and executing snagging processes.
• Previous involvement in real estate projects is essential.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Labone, Accra.
