Pursuit Lead

Role Overview

This role is centered on leading pursuit and quotation activities for automotive digital cockpit and display solutions. The position requires strong coordination across technical, supplier, and customer stakeholders, with a focus on delivering timely and accurate responses for RFQs and RFIs. You will act as a key point of contact for technical discussions related to the product line, hardware platforms, and software architecture.

Core Responsibilities

• Handle multiple RFQs and RFIs at the same time while keeping each response on track.
• Support customers and teams across different regions and time zones for several customer groups.
• Work under tight quotation timelines and maintain strong delivery discipline.
• Spot supplier-dependent inputs early and start those activities ahead of time in the quote cycle.
• Collaborate with suppliers on part selection and related technical decisions.
• Serve as the primary contact for technical conversations with customers and suppliers.
• Present an overview of the digital instrument cluster product line, including hardware and software platforms.
• Understand and discuss DI products such as clusters, 2W clusters, cockpit domain controllers, displays, and BMS.
• Work with DI hardware platforms based on Infineon microcontrollers such as Aurix, Traveo II, NXP microcontrollers, and TI microcontrollers.
• Interpret software architecture across AUTOSAR, Linux, and QNX-based systems.
• Review hardware, display, and software details at a high level and connect them to implementation needs.
• Map feature requirements to the correct software architecture.
• Perform impact analysis and estimate effort with little or no support from the technical team for standard features.
• Coordinate with multiple technical teams for new feature evaluation and effort estimation.
• Identify opportunities to reuse existing designs.
• Prepare and complete quote documentation on time, including customer TDRs, BOMs, BOLs, software development assumptions, and engineering effort/cost inputs.
• Make sure assumptions, exceptions, and compliance sheet updates are fully recorded.
• Understand the basics of functional safety and cybersecurity, including shared platform items, new safety measures, and cybersecurity impacts on software development.
• Identify risks when hardware platform choices may affect system performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience in the automotive software domain.
• Hands-on knowledge of relevant products such as clusters, IVI, CDC, BMS, or displays.
• Background in embedded software development and Agile/ASPICE processes.
• Strong ability to manage several quotation requests simultaneously.
• Comfort working across global regions and time zones.
• Ability to deliver accurate results under short turnaround times.
• Working knowledge of cockpit technology, hardware platforms, and embedded software architecture.
• Exposure to functional safety and cybersecurity concepts is an advantage.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Panaji, Goa, India. The role is suited to professionals who can balance technical depth with strong coordination and documentation skills in a fast-paced quotation environment.

Experience Summary

Minimum experience required is 4 years in automotive software. Experience beyond that is not specified.
