Job description
Overview
This opening is for a Purchase Executive based in Prahlad Nagar, Ahmedabad. The role involves managing procurement activities, coordinating with vendors, and keeping purchasing records accurate and up to date.
Compensation
The package offered is up to ₹25,000 CTC per month.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage purchase orders while staying in touch with vendors.
- Use Tally software for purchase-related work and record keeping.
- Discuss pricing and delivery terms with suppliers to secure the best possible arrangements.
- Maintain organized documentation for all purchase transactions.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure procurement happens on time.
- Coordinate with vendors regularly to check order progress and delivery schedules.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of prior experience in purchase or procurement is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed.
- Good negotiation ability is important for supplier discussions.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and Tally is preferred.
- Should be able to handle several vendors at once and meet deadlines consistently.
