Key Responsibilities

As a Publishing Research Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Senior Analysts to generate investment ideas, conduct financial analysis, build valuation models, author detailed reports, and maintain communication with clients. You will expand your knowledge by engaging with company management, industry specialists, and the broader Australasian Macquarie Capital team, alongside attending industry conferences hosted by Macquarie and other entities.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a minimum of five years’ experience in equities, buy-side roles, investment banking or related financial or corporate sectors.
• Holds a tertiary qualification in finance, economics, accounting, engineering, or closely related disciplines, accompanied by academic transcripts upon application.
• Exhibits a strong enthusiasm for understanding company operations, industries, and market dynamics.
• Experienced in financial analysis and proficient with financial modeling, particularly skilled in Microsoft Excel.
• Self-driven, attentive to detail with superior written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Capable of creative thinking, original idea generation, and effective problem-solving.
