Job description

About the Role

We seek experienced quantitative professionals to collaborate on training advanced AI models. The position involves working directly with cutting-edge AI systems to evaluate AI-generated quantitative analyses, address technical challenges, and deliver feedback that shapes AI's analytical approaches regarding data, models, and scientific problems.

Professionals with backgrounds in data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, or related quantitative disciplines are encouraged to apply. Candidates may engage with this role alongside other jobs or as their main focus.

Application Process

Candidates register and complete a brief assessment that serves as the interview. Passing this test grants access to paid projects via our platform.

Benefits

  • Flexibility to select projects and work times.
  • Remote work using personal computers from home.
  • Compensation of $50-$100+ USD per hour, with potential bonuses on some projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess the technical correctness and practical applicability of AI-produced quantitative work including statistical analyses, predictive models, scientific reasoning, and data insights.
  • Develop and resolve quantitative challenges for training and benchmarking AI in areas such as forecasting, experimental design, optimization, and statistical inference.
  • Produce clear technical documentation and analytical code with thorough documentation.
  • Offer constructive feedback that directly influences future AI quantitative reasoning models.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years professional experience in quantitative functions or research, including fields like data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or similar.
  • Proficiency in coding with the ability to write and evaluate complete analytical code workflows.
  • Practical knowledge of statistical methods, predictive modeling, and experiment designs (A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, time-series forecasting).
  • Native or bilingual English fluency with excellent writing capabilities.
  • Preferably holds a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as statistics, computer science, mathematics, engineering, or comparable; advanced degrees are advantageous.
  • Additional credentials, for example, high Kaggle competition rankings or cloud-based ML certifications, are beneficial.
