About The Role
You will lead a variety of applied psychological research initiatives and deliver professional services tailored to enhance organisational preparedness and efficiency within the Ministry of Defence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee applied psychological research projects from inception to completion.
- Offer professional guidance to bolster organisational readiness and effectiveness.
- Design, plan, and coordinate research activities.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff involved in assigned projects, with potential leadership responsibilities.
- Use psychological expertise to drive organisational development and improvements.
- Conduct research and perform analyses on topics pertinent to the organisation's needs.
- Keep up-to-date with recent advancements and research trends in applied psychology.
Qualifications and Skills
- Formal education and training in Psychology.
- Strong inclination and aptitude for applied psychological research.
- Effective interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.
- Sound understanding of organisational psychology concepts and applications.
- Competence in research methodologies and design.
- Membership with the Singapore Psychological Society is preferred.
