  • Assist the Risk Lead with schedule impact analysis and forecasting.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in guidance notes and training resources.
  • Coach and support others to strengthen scheduling capability within the team.

Requirements

  • Background in project scheduling, ideally gained in a Defence environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Cobra, Open Plan, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, cost forecasting, and project lifecycles.
  • Proven ability to coach, guide, and support colleagues or clients.
  • Experience working in a change management setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
  • Confidence influencing and advising clients.
  • Flexible, collaborative team approach with the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Australian citizenship and Baseline or NV1 security clearance preferred.

Benefits and culture

  • Primary carers receive 20 weeks of paid parental leave; partner carers receive 4 weeks, with full superannuation contributions for up to 52 weeks.
  • Annual professional and personal development support of up to $5,000, plus PD leave; up to $750 each year can be used for wellbeing-related expenses such as gym membership or other wellbeing activities.
  • Additional leave options include reserve leave, loyalty leave, emergency services leave, purchased leave of up to 2 weeks, and community service leave.
  • Flexible working practices supported by a culture that values balance.

  • Annual employee engagement event and social activities throughout the year.
  • Access to a wellbeing hub with health and fitness content.
  • Defence Health and travel insurance access.

  • Novated leasing and salary sacrifice options.
