Job Description

This role focuses on projects related to stormwater and drainage systems, flood alleviation measures, wastewater networks and treatment plants, pumping stations, and water distribution networks. Key activities include undertaking investigations, planning, design, tendering processes, contract administration, and construction monitoring.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
• Membership in an accredited Project Management institution is advantageous.
• Possession of Professional Chartership Engineer status from a recognized international institution.
• Demonstrated experience with water infrastructure, including sewers, water pipelines, RO plants, and water reservoirs.
• Proven ability in reviewing, verifying, monitoring, and recommending non-objection for design management plans, design calculations, hydraulic analysis, and similar technical documents.
• Experience in evaluating both technical and financial proposals.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Capacity to manage a substantial workload with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, conduct self-reviews, and consistently achieve objectives.
• Strong capabilities in teamwork and collaboration with all levels of management on an ongoing basis.
• A proactive approach to coordinating activities and complex tasks, taking professional responsibility.
• Commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism, punctuality, attentiveness, and adherence to Stantec’s policies and procedures.
• Flexibility regarding working hours and travel, with a dedication to putting in the necessary effort.
