- Direct cross-functional project teams by giving guidance, coordination, and support throughout the full project lifecycle.
- Spot project risks early, evaluate their impact, and put mitigation and fallback plans in place to improve delivery outcomes.
- Track project spending, manage budgets, and share accurate financial and progress updates with stakeholders.
- Handle communication and expectation-setting with internal and external stakeholders so everyone stays aligned on objectives, status, and deliverables.
- Lead change control activities and assess how scope changes affect timelines, costs, and staffing.
- Make sure project outputs meet quality standards and customer expectations.
- Keep thorough project records such as plans, reports, capacity forecasts, and post-implementation reviews.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of project management experience, preferably in technology, software, or engineering environments.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional projects from kickoff through completion in changing environments.
- Working knowledge of project delivery approaches such as Agile, Waterfall, or Scrum, plus familiarity with the software development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or comparable systems.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to turn technical ideas into clear business language.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills with an emphasis on motivation, collaboration, and performance.
- Excellent organization and prioritization ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a practical, solution-focused approach.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience; PMP, PRINCE2, or PMI-ACP certification is preferred.
