Overview
The role of Project Manager focuses on leading and overseeing strategic and developmental projects with high efficiency, ensuring they are completed according to approved plans while achieving their goals within the set timelines, budget, and quality standards. This position requires supervising work teams and coordinating efforts among stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in one of the following fields:
- Public Administration or Strategic Management
- Economics or Planning
- Management Information Systems or any relevant field in data and information
- Industrial Engineering or other suitable engineering disciplines
Professional Experience
- At least 18 years of hands-on experience in project management, preferably on strategic, government, technical, or development projects.
- Proven expertise in:
- Leading multidisciplinary teams
- Managing budgets and risks
- Preparing executive reports
- Liaising with government and private entities
- Overseeing all project phases from planning through closure
Required Skills
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage and motivate teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or others
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Capacity to operate under pressure and make decisive decisions
- High competency in preparing reports and executive presentations
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Directing and managing the project through all stages (planning, execution, monitoring, closure)
- Developing work plans, schedules, and defining project scope
- Managing the budget and ensuring resource compliance
- Monitoring team performance and task allocation
- Assessing risks and establishing mitigation strategies
- Preparing periodic reports and submitting them to senior management
- Coordinating with internal and external parties to ensure workflow continuity
- Ensuring compliance with approved standards, policies, and procedures
- Improving processes and enhancing project methodologies
