The company creates trade shows, conferences, B2B platforms, and business-matching opportunities across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the USA, bringing together businesses, investors, exhibitors, buyers, and public and private sector partners through high-impact events.
Role Summary
The organisation is seeking a seasoned and highly structured Project Manager for events and exhibitions. This role is responsible for taking exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and corporate events from planning through execution and final delivery. The right candidate will bring strong project coordination skills, experience working with vendors, confidence in client communication, and a commitment to delivering premium event experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning, coordination, and delivery of exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and business events.
- Liaise with internal teams, clients, exhibitors, sponsors, vendors, contractors, venues, and government bodies to keep the project moving smoothly.
- Develop detailed timelines, budgets, production plans, floor layouts, operational checklists, and event execution documents.
- Oversee venue setup, logistics, stand build, branding, registration, hospitality, and onsite event activity.
- Make sure all deliverables are completed on schedule, within budget, and in line with company expectations.
- Track project risks and respond quickly with practical solutions during both planning and onsite stages.
- Keep clear and consistent communication with clients and stakeholders before, during, and after each event.
- Manage and guide event crews, suppliers, freelancers, and onsite personnel.
- Compile post-event reports, attendee or client feedback, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Contribute to business growth by driving strong client satisfaction and encouraging repeat engagements.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s qualification in Event Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or a similar discipline.
- Between 3 and 6 years of experience in project management, ideally within exhibitions, conferences, events, or trade shows.
- Solid understanding of event operations, production, logistics, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent skills in organisation, communication, and solving problems under pressure.
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong leadership qualities and a careful eye for detail.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with project management software is an added benefit.
- Previous UAE experience in events or exhibitions is preferred.
- Strong English fluency is essential; Arabic or Chinese is an advantage.
