About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead construction projects throughout the Greater Boston region. This position involves overseeing projects from the initial preconstruction phase all the way through to successful completion. The role requires working closely with seasoned construction experts to deliver projects on time and within budget while fostering strong professional relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Create and maintain detailed project schedules to ensure timely progress.
  • Track and control project budgets effectively.
  • Coordinate efforts between subcontractors and vendors to optimize workflow.
  • Conduct project meetings to discuss progress, issues, and next steps.
  • Review contracts and all related project documentation carefully.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, and change orders efficiently.
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients to keep them informed.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards on site.
  • Support all activities required for successful project closeout.

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum three years of project management experience, specifically in commercial construction.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Proficient communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings.
  • A problem-solving approach to overcoming challenges.
  • Familiarity with Procore or equivalent construction management software is advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in ground-up construction projects.
  • Experience managing renovation projects.
  • OSHA safety certification.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
