Project Manager - Biometrics

About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee Biometrics project teams throughout all clinical study phases, including departments such as Data Management, Biostatistics, Statistical Programming, and Medical Writing. The role involves managing varied projects from single service studies to extensive global biometrics programs with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Biometrics project teams from study initiation to completion.
• Manage multiple projects differing in complexity and scale.
• Act as the main contact between clients, vendors, and internal project teams.
• Encourage effective communication and cross-functional collaboration to build team cohesion.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with clients and vendors to support ongoing and new business opportunities.
• Organize and lead team meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute-taking.
• Maintain project timelines, milestones, and follow-up action items.
• Manage project finances, including forecasting accruals and initiating billing processes.
• Identify and manage change orders and project risks, facilitating resolution or escalation as needed.
• Ensure all required training for internal staff and sponsors is completed.
• Support contract teams by assisting with budgets and scopes of work (SOW, WO, COs).
• Provide performance feedback to project team members and managers.
• Contribute to business development (RFPs and RFIs) and governance activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by senior project management staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in life sciences required; MBA or PMP certification preferred.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in Pharma/CRO industry with at least three years in project management.
• Strong understanding of Biometrics services and their interrelations.
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, drug development lifecycle, and project management processes.
• Knowledge of ICH/GCP guidelines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proven team player with strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented approach.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Project.
