Your Mission

Join our Orbital Services & Systems Team in Munich as a PMO Analyst Intern. You will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, tracking, and execution of complex aerospace programs, such as orbital refuelling and in-orbit servicing missions. This position offers invaluable hands-on experience within a dynamic space technology scale-up environment. Following the internship, there is a possibility to continue as a working student or to transition into a thesis project, with the topic customized to your interests and skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for project scheduling, tracking key milestones, and reporting progress on ongoing programs.
• Maintain and update essential project management tools, including dashboards, trackers, Gantt charts, risk registers, and requirements logs.
• Assist in the preparation and follow-up of program reviews, initial meetings, and client communications.
• Support commercial and administrative duties, such as monitoring purchase orders, invoices, and work packages within Odoo.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of program management processes, templates, and workflows to aid a growing team.
• Help create and document PM processes and contribute to the Project Management Handbook.
• Assist in proposal preparation, including structuring work packages, developing schedules, and providing cost inputs.
• Aid in maintaining risk and opportunity registers and facilitate stakeholder alignment.
• Support resource planning and coordinate interfaces between business stakeholders and engineering teams.

Your Profile

• Currently pursuing a Master’s or advanced Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Possess strong organizational capabilities with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Demonstrate initial practical experience in project or program management, acquired through internships, working student roles, or academic projects.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); prior experience with project management or ERP software is advantageous.
• Comfortable handling data, timelines, and documentation within a technical context.
• Familiarity with aerospace standards like ECSS is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exhibit a proactive, dependable attitude, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
